Concept of sound health depends on physical health, mental health, social health and spiritual health. Disharmony among the four components of human beings can lead to stress. Before your life reaches this point due to stress, you must take action to keep it from happening. Instead of always resorting to dealing with stress negatively, there are other means for you to approach stress in a healthier way. Here are 7 powerful stress management secrets to help you overcome stress.
1. Exercise is a great way to de-stress your body and your mind. It improves blood flow to the brain, bringing it more oxygen. Believe it or not, long hours of sitting and thinking cause the neurons of your brain to build up toxic waste products. If you've ever experienced that foggy feeling, that feeling that your brain has turned to mush, this is why. Exercise releases chemicals called endorphins, into your blood stream. These endorphins are what give you that happy feeling, a feeling of well-being. When the pressure is on, it's the more physically fit people who are able to fight off illness. You'll stay healthier and suffer less from burnout. Please remember to talk to your doctor before starting an exercise program. In addition, keep in mind that exercise should be fun. If it stops being fun, you'll stop exercising.

2. Take a break. Yes, that's right. To be able to cope with stress better, you need to step away from what you're doing and get your energy together. Working under pressure and completing your duties while you're stressed will only wear you down and could also affect your performance. Removing yourself from a stressful situation, even for a brief moment, will help you breathe more easily and give you a fresh perspective.
3. Breathing techniques are very helpful and can be used almost anywhere, even at work. Once again, find a quiet place to sit down. Close your eyes and take a deep breath, then let it out. Take the next breath slowly, counting to five, holds that breathe to the count of four, then release it very slowly. This works particularly well if you feel a bit panicky. When in panic mode, the body tends to breathe very fast and shallow, intensifying the feeling of fight-or-flight. Doing this breathing technique for fifteen or twenty minutes will be very calming.
4. Be organized. If you're juggling too many things all at once, you tend to forget how to schedule your work properly. Make a list of everything you need to do, and then arrange them in order of urgency and when they need to be completed. This will help you stay focused on the things that need to be done right away instead of turning your attention to the ones that aren't as urgent.
Try and spend time with your loved ones. Relaxing with family and friends is a great stress reliever. Finding fun activities will make you feel happy, relaxed, and more able to handle the day-to-day stress. They say laughter is the best medicine, so laugh and enjoy life whenever you can. Take regular vacations. Not only will you enjoy the break from work and home duties, but just the act of planning and looking forward to the vacation will improve your state of mind. Sometimes, anticipation is half the fun.
5. Jacuzzis are a very powerful method for stress relief. Throw a swimsuit on (or don't) and jump right in. Lay back and relax. Feel as the stress is burned out of your body and mind. If you sit in the tub for a good 15-20 minutes, that's all you need to leave you feeling virtually stress-free. The hot temperature of the water causes your muscles to go into relaxation mode, and believe it or not, there is a strong connection between the mind and body. A relaxed body is a relaxed mind and vice versa. You should sleep like a baby if you sit in the tub before you go to bed. Sleeping good will cause you to have less stress during the daytime. You're attacking stress at 2 angles with this method. Give it shot.
6. Yelling at the top of your Lungs: This one sounds weird, I know. Make sure you do this when you're alone so people don't think you're out of your mind. Never yell at anyone else. I like to do it in my car when I'm driving alone. I just roll the windows up and let it rip for a good 5 seconds. That's all you need. You can direct your yelling towards another drive as long as they don't hear you. Call them whatever you want, the worse the better. Trust me; if you do this you will feel a lot better. This is a powerful stress relief method that people use every day and doesn't even know what they are really doing. It's referred to as road rage, except this isn't real road rage. I don't encourage you to really get mad at other drivers on the road, just pretend you are.
I hope these stress management powerful secrets will helped you to see that your life does not have to go on the way it has, then it has succeeded. And I do hope that it has given you the determination to restore some balance to your life and to reduce your stress to a minimum so that you become happier, healthier and more fulfilled
