Positive vision of end results.

When you set new goal very often your mind suggest you automatically all obstacles on the way to achieving your goal. If you do not try to overcome this you will focus on problems not on goal. As a result you get more problems and less positive outcome. This is why positive thinking is so important and we should practice it every day. When you set your goals you should also find and write down as much as possible reasons to success. It is important to positively visualize results, which we want to achieve. You should start your journey to goal with positive vision of end results. Keeping positive image of your goal in your mind and heart helps you to overcome obstacles to achieve it.

Don't limit yourself.

It is worth to think what better you can achieve than your initial goal. What result can be better than this which you set on the beginning? What enjoyed you even more. Remember you should set your goal so big to make all problems, small and insignificant in comparison. There is the rule that if you can imagine it you can achieve it.

On the beginning it can be, that you will not see any results. You may also have no idea how to achieve your goal and sometimes you may even think that your goal is not achievable. In the moments like that think about analogy to seed. After sowing, you have to wait long for the first blade and this is just first sign of harvest, to which still long way. If you give up and you will not be cultivate the grain you can forgot about harvest. So never, never, never give up.

Vocalize your goals.

Beyond positive creation of your goal image, you can try also to vocalize it. It means read or speak out loud this what you want to achieve with the energy and confidence. On the beginning you will feel little stupid and uncomfortable, but your goal is outside your comfort zone.

Take an action.

All mind tricks have one reason - motivate you to action. Taking action is most important. Do something to achieve your goal, check if it working. If not find if you can modify it to get the result you want. If still not working find another method. Do not stop acting.

Initial failures are inevitable. Positive vision of end results allows you to overcome it, stand up and try again.

Thinking on paper as one of the success skills.

Thinking is the one of the important act and do it effectively you need two simply things pen and paper. Tools for thinking are very cheap but you can earn much more money from thinking than from other job.

Capture the idea.

By writing down your idea you not forgot it. When it is on paper you can work on it. By writing you also make space for new ideas. It is because you do not need to keep longer this though in your short memory. The consciously you can start thinking about something else. But by writing you said to your subconscious that this is something important and some part of your mind still working on this. When I brainstorming very often I make numbering list and just after writing one point I write next number for the next idea even if I don't know it yet. I make the space for the idea not only in my mind but also on paper.

Slow down - think clear.

We are thinking all the time one thought after another. When we write, we can slow down the flow of our thoughts and we can easier back to the written topic. Thanks to that we can think more clearer.

Make better decision.

When we have to make decision, sometimes it is good idea to write down all pros and cons. You can not only write down two columns but also add the weight for each line. For example in scale from 1 to 5 how important it is for you. Not only you make this decision more confident but also you can explain why you make it.

Visualize better.

Writing your idea move it form your inner to your outer world. You can see this idea on paper. It immediately become more real. This is why writing your goal is so important to achieve it. It is the first step.

"Goals that are not written down are just wishes." - Fitzhugh Dodson

Plan

With pen and papers you can make plans of your day, week and so on. Just writing your daily task list every time before you start work increase the chance that you finish more task in shorter time. What is important when you have your to-do list on paper you can prioritize. For example you can use Brian Tracy A-B-C-D method. Where A stands for very important, B - important, C - nice to do, D - delegate, E - eliminate.

The importance of the process of thinking on paper summarizes well the following quote:

"Writing means many different things to me but one thing it is not: writing is not the transcription of thoughts already consciously present in my mind. Writing is a magical and mysterious process that makes it possible to think differently." – Lynn Hunt ("The Art of History: How Writing Leads to Thinking")

Re-write your goals every day.

If you want to be more focused on your goals you can use this simple technique of writing and re-writing your goals every day. This method is use and promote by Brian Tracy. You should re-write your goals in the morning before you go to work or start your work day and in the evening as the last thing you do before going to bed. What is important, to get benefits from re-writing your goals, you should do this everyday.

Decide that this will be your new habit. To form the habit you must do this 21 to 30 days in the row. To discipline yourself you can get your notebook and write on the top date and after the date "morning" or "evening". In the next line write the number one, if it is your first day. Now as a headline write for example MY PERSONAL GOALS. Below write your goals. Remember your goals should be in first person, in present tense and it also should include the date and even hour when you want this goals to be achieved. Every time you re-write your goals increase the number indicating how many times you've re-written your goals. Now, one important trick if you one morning or evening forget to re-write your goals start again from the beginning. This will motivated you to make this everyday. After 30 days in the row, you should have your goals re-written sixty times. By doing this you make new path in your mind and at the last you begin to re-write your goals effortlessly.  You will feel that you miss something if you not doing this. Everyday repeating to make a habit is very important. Jack Canfield told the story about astronauts, which as a part of their preparation to flight in to space wear special helmets. This helmets turn what they see upside down. After 30 days  mind is adapted to this and they can function normally, not noticing that something in his vision is upside down. But if some of them just for one day remove the helmet, during this 30 days, he need to start the training from the beginning.

Re-writing your goals is the simply to use mechanism for keeping your goals in front of you and make your mind  more alert for the opportunities of achieving them. This is one of the secret to success and reason why some people seams to have more luck than others.
