Using The Law Of Success To Build Wealth
By: Kristen Howe
People with a shallow understanding of the law of success see it as a glorified way of saying, "Fake it, till you make it." Although for the most part, the principles of success involve mental habits that encourage an individual to maintain the positive mental attitudes of someone who is already successful, its more complex than just faking it. This process, similar to the wealth building process, is an evolution. Its about changing the internal life of a person to enable him to change his external life. A person who believes that hes meant for great things will not settle for a mediocre life. Thats where the process begins. Here are a few facts about the principle of success that may help you gain a better understanding of the concept.

1.The law of success demands ambition.
Contentment is not one of the virtues of highly successful people. In order to reach the summit of financial success, you need the drive and ambition to take you there. Some people just want to achieve a comfort zone where they can be safe. There is nothing wrong with that. A steady day job with salary and benefits would satisfy such a modest desire. However, this is not the path towards wealth building. If you want to be wealthy, you have to want more. Don't be satisfied with a salary and your employee status. Be more ambitious.
2.Patience is the first prerequisite of the law of success.
There are two ways a person can build wealth. One can either spend less or earn more. Either way, the opportunities to build wealth don't come every day. Sometimes the only thing a person can do to progress is to maintain the status quo, while looking for better opportunities. Wealth building takes time. The principles of success take time. In order to find the success that you're looking for, you're going to have to be patient. Too many people have begun their journey towards success only to falter in the middle stages because of a lack of patience. Learn the value of patience and all your dreams will be within your reach.
3.The law of success requires discipline.
Follow the principles of success and you will have no trouble with your wealth building process. However, these matters are easier said than done. Building wealth is a difficult process. If it were easy, everyone would be wealthy. It takes a disciplined person to be able to adhere to laws for an extended period of time. But that is exactly what the process requires. The most successful people in the world have this trait in common. They commit to a task or a goal and they have the discipline to follow through.
4.The law of success is about perseverance.
The one thing that guarantees success in wealth building is not quitting. The principles of success are deceptively complex. Patience, discipline and optimism are words we often hear, but until you've tried to incorporate these values into your life, you wont realize how difficult they could be. There will always be adversity headed your way, but if you can stand up more times than you can fall, you'll eventually accomplish all your goals.
5.The law of success has to be applied now.
With regard to wealth building, a lot of people try and wait for the perfect time to begin saving and investing. However, the perfect time rarely happens and a lot of people are stuck at the waiting stage of the process. Sometimes one just has to start regardless of the circumstances. The principle of success is about initiative. One has to initiate the journey towards progress immediately and without delay. If you cant manage to save a huge chunk of your income, try saving a dollar a day. Just start building positive habits today. They will pay great dividends in the near future.
More than a few behavioral guidelines, the law of success is a lifestyle change. You cant just go through the motions. You have to really immerse yourself in the process. More often than not, wealth building is done unconsciously. It comes as a natural consequence of the type of life you establish when you understand the psychology and methodology of success. When you commit to a new pattern of living, you will be transformed. It may take some time and the transformations may be too subtle to recognize immediately, but change is guaranteed. In order to succeed, you need to become someone to whom success is inevitable. That is exactly what this process is for.

The Psychology of Success
Tom Wood and Les Brown show you how to get your mind ready for massive success. This is the first of 30 daily programs on developing LIFE MASTERY
The Psychology of Success
Les Brown speaks life into people. We soak up his teachings like thirsty sponges...
Why do you think more people are not earning $25,000 per month? We know that it's not because they are not ambitious or that they are not hard working...because so many are. They invest into all the fancy new programs, they have the great ad copy with the best auto-responders sending the fantastic letters...so we can only access this as it can't be that...but what can it be you ask... you need to learn the psychology of success...
You need to sound confident and look like you know everything, and you basically know what you are talking about. When you have mastered everything, discussing or presenting it will be easier as you do not have to memorize anything but just share what you have prepared. Most of the time, people will no longer ask but rather be astounded with how great your present your work thus achieving success. Explain things in a simpler way do not use words that even you do not really understand. Be simple and be real and everything will fall into place. You will achieve the success you have always wanted. This is the basic psychology of success.

Success To Success What Is The Meaning Of Success In Life
All of us wanted to become successful in life. This is the reason why we work so hard in order to become successful someday. So what is the real definition of success? Sometimes success is difficult to define, and what one person considers a success, another person probably does not. Defining success is therefore not necessarily a simple as you may think. According to the dictionary, success is defined as "the favorable or prosperous termination of attempts or endeavors."
Each person has their own their definition of success, but within these there will often lie some important relationship questions. Those who succeed in this world are normally self-starters and self-motivators. They work with others but do not rely on others for their success. Often the successful person provides for himself and others around him, and the relationship questions involved are largely in how the 'others' relate to the successful: that can often be negatively.
When it comes to personal development, you should be aware of the fact that making a decision to invest consistently in your education, you are able to take advantage of this situation. It will pay you throughout your life. Jim Rohn strongly suggests having a minimum amount of time set aside for reading books, listening to audio, attending seminars, keeping a journal and spending time with other successful people. Doing all the stuff can give you the answer of what is success in your life.
My personal definition of success in life is that if you want to achieve your goal or take part in any endeavor or focus on your chosen subjects for studies or career, you need to achieve success through your hard work; complete dedication to your goal, endeavor or chosen subjects/career; careful planning; proper organizing; doing things Honestly and Legally; compete with yourself only and above all, possessing self-confidence and faith in yourself. More importantly, with a happy and peaceful mind, you can achieve success in a good way!

Thinking on paper as one of the success skills.
Thinking is the one of the important act and do it effectively you need two simply things pen and paper. Tools for thinking are very cheap but you can earn much more money from thinking than from other job.
By writing down your idea you not forgot it. When it is on paper you can work on it. By writing you also make space for new ideas. It is because you do not need to keep longer this though in your short memory. The consciously you can start thinking about something else. But by writing you said to your subconscious that this is something important and some part of your mind still working on this. When I brainstorming very often I make numbering list and just after writing one point I write next number for the next idea even if I don't know it yet. I make the space for the idea not only in my mind but also on paper.
We are thinking all the time one thought after another. When we write, we can slow down the flow of our thoughts and we can easier back to the written topic. Thanks to that we can think more clearer.
When we have to make decision, sometimes it is good idea to write down all pros and cons. You can not only write down two columns but also add the weight for each line. For example in scale from 1 to 5 how important it is for you. Not only you make this decision more confident but also you can explain why you make it.
Writing your idea move it form your inner to your outer world. You can see this idea on paper. It immediately become more real. This is why writing your goal is so important to achieve it. It is the first step.
With pen and papers you can make plans of your day, week and so on. Just writing your daily task list every time before you start work increase the chance that you finish more task in shorter time. What is important when you have your to-do list on paper you can prioritize. For example you can use Brian Tracy A-B-C-D method. Where A stands for very important, B - important, C - nice to do, D - delegate, E - eliminate.
The importance of the process of thinking on paper summarizes well the following quote:
Capture the idea.

Writing is a magical and mysterious process that makes it possible to think differently." – Lynn Hunt ("The Art of History: How Writing Leads to Thinking")

Self Growth Techniques for Personal Success
By Katrina D Briggs
What is self growth? It is about shaping yourself to become a better person with solid values, ethics and a well balanced approach to life. It is the process of working on your areas of improvement and turning them into areas of strength and opportunities. Just how can you do that? Here are five simple techniques for starters:
1. Learn from others. Start with your immediate family and closest friends. What are some of their traits that you admire? What have they accomplished that makes you want to be like them? Talk to them and ask them what they did to achieve self growth that led to their professional and personal success. Then check out famous people whose work you admire and read articles on how they got to the top of their profession. Learn as much as you can about their individual techniques and see which ones you can adopt for yourself.
2. Observe admirable people. Look at how they conduct themselves, from the way they walk, talk, sit and generally behave in public. Such refinement can only be a product of effective self growth techniques, which include polishing one's looks, movements and skill sets to complete the overall package of the person. Look at how they treat others and are treated in turn. You can take a page out of their demeanor to propel yourself towards personal success and professional recognition. This isn't to say you should mimic their every move; just derive the best practices possible from them that you can employ for your own good.
3. Assess your own attitude. How have you been behaving by your lonesome? Are you a person of integrity - always doing the right thing even when no one is looking? How are you with other people around? Do you exercise kindness and consideration for others, or are you being fueled by your own selfish needs for personal success? Bear in mind that in order to succeed at self growth, you must possess a mature disposition and a kind heart. Aim to be a caring and morally upright person no matter where you go. The universe has a way of rewarding people who treat others well and punishing those who won't hesitate to trample on the feelings and rights of others.
4. Envision the kind of person you would like to be one day. This is a great self growth exercise that can provide you inspiration on your journey to professional and personal success. Paint a picture of the Ideal You - the kind of individual you wish to become in the future. How do you see yourself in that image? Do you see a nation-building politician, the next Mother Teresa, or the next Steve Jobs? Use your imagination as your mood board to guide you as you work on your greatest ambition.
5. Get rid of vices that may be harmful to your self growth. Are you quick to turn to painkillers when you feel the slightest muscle twitch? Do you tend to gorge on sugary snacks and drinks to keep your energy levels up as you slave over a very important project? Remove all self destructive habits from your system and start living clean! You won't be able to enjoy personal success if your health takes a nosedive and renders you bedridden most of the time. So go have that physical check up and get tips from your physician and nutritionist on how to live a healthier and more wholesome lifestyle.
The change starts within you. Find your purpose, work on it and remember to enjoy the journey as well. Good luck and may you serve as an inspiring role model to others.
There are many self growth techniques. It's just a matter of you choosing those that suit your personality and can easily be incorporated into your life. Your journey to a better you starts today!

Article source: http://goarticles.com/article/Faith-As-a-Key-Element-for-Success/7389079/
Faith means many things to different people. Generally associated with religious beliefs, omens and fetishes, but its global significance is much broader as to limit it to certain specific categories.
The Bible in the quote from Hebrews 11 defines faith as best as possible: "The substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen".
Unfortunately faith and meaning results in a number of proposals, some serious and real and effective use in a religious belief in the healing of diseases and the achievement of goals and objectives, but also in superstitions of charlatans who use ignorance and naivety of many people to profit economically and permanently.
Faith in general is part of what lies beyond our consciousness threshold and perceptiveness.
The whole universe and known far beyond any level of perception that we have of him, but beyond that reality itself is a myriad of sensory impressions. And our human ability to detect these is very limited.
As explained in other articles " The Subconscious Mind and Self-Esteem Center "our mind is divided into two fundamental part:
Part aware: that through the five senses captures environmental information and can only register up to seven variables or pieces of information simultaneously. This is measured in simultaneous stimuli or events that occur around us.
Part Unconscious: consists of all functions of the brain that controls involuntary and stores the information in many more to the information chain creating conscious.
According to research done by scientists in Colorado United States, it is now known that the human nervous system detects only one part in a billion of environmental energy.
The reality of fact is very vast in emission and perceptions. And it is clearly showed in other beings who live this planet as the animals that surpass us greatly in sensory means to detect and to take advantage what escapes to our senses and threshold of conscience.
Snakes for example have seen in infrared and calorific senses by which to detect prey without possibility of this is hidden. Bats emit ultrasonic and capture which makes not collide with obstacles along the way. Elephants meanwhile also pick up sounds not audible human frequency range, and this has made among other things that have saved many lives, as in the famous case of tsunami in Asia, which in the time it would shake the earth, elephants ground vibration perceived that preceded the quake panicked and hysterical, long before human media radar and confirmed it was on track a series of giant waves that destroyed entire towns and cities. And these skills were different from ours which saved lives alerted and defenseless.
Everything previous demonstrates that our limited perception of the universe leaves very much field in order that there happen phenomena that escape to our level of conscience and that therefore they must be recognized, certain and valued to take advantage of a world of options that we do not know and of that them being able to take advantage since for example with the conscious exercise of the faith they could benefit our life and that of all those beings who surround us and want to improve his quality of life.
On the topic of faith there is a principle very clearly starting says: " The map is not the territory and the map is not the territory. " This means that our model of the world, that our senses pick up and say, not all of what happens. Not even an important part. More it is a very small part of what happens in terms of time infinitesimals around us and throughout the cosmos.
The scientific world as we know it, especially the science of mathematical physics has a number of assumptions and laborious calculations that have defined the order of bodies in space and the fundamental particles like atoms and subatomic particles. Yet our sense threshold can not detect or experience these as small-scale models, such as the name of the atom. No one has ever seen an atom is. I mean eyes see naturally, without using electronic means or technology to confirm their presence. But we all have faith that atoms exist as we know them in the books of science if we can not see them.
We can not see the sound, nor the energy released from the bodies and many many phenomena that occur at any time.
This brief scientific analysis we have done makes it clear that even the science of using more advanced methods of reasoning and verification, also uses faith as a principle, it is not possible for humans to perceive directly many of these events and phenomena that occur every moment, although calculations show that intellectuals always occur.
Returning to the theme of success and improve the quality of life of people, today there is much talk of the power of attraction or the law of attraction works clearly as alleged. But many of the people who receive this insider, not be applied correctly and complete for use faith as a catalyst for attracting phenomena and pro-life events.
And this is mainly because there is a conflict between the conscious part of the mind associated with the left hemisphere of the brain that uses logic and reasoning limited with limited information perceived by the five senses: sight, hearing, touch, taste and smell, and the unconscious associated with the right hemisphere of the brain where the imagination, intuition and creativity perceptive.
Without getting into very technical details say that the basic requirement for achieving a permanent and effective faith is to provide clear information on the limited basic model of human perception as the one we have shared in this article to the left brain is logical, critical and skeptical, to learn to recognize our sensory and mental models as suitable but always limited in the infinite set of variables of information that happens around us and accept faith as a real fact constantly challenges our reality, but confirmed their results with extraordinary events that always come into our lives and if we do not train and expand our level of consciousness, continue to be overlooked and wasted as much times have occurred in the lives of many people.
On the other hand training the right hemisphere with resources like the offer at the end of this article to discover and use highly effective mechanisms that predispose our mood and bring awareness to our lives whatever we crave and need.
According to the above offer some directices important to know and apply the faith with effective results:
Become aware of the limitlessness of the universe, not only in its manifestations but also in their reactions.
Clearly considered as a conscious human perceives only seven variables of information at a time and a nervous system that detects only one part in a billion of energy around you, are not reliable instruments to ensure that all real phenomena of perception of the universe end there.
Understand that faith is not a belief helpless, because you can not conceptualize, but is an effective way of communication between your right brain and your inner self or soul that senses and perceives the universe much larger realities as not can see but who are here rather than those offered by the left hemisphere is responsible for logic and rationality limited.
Use the power of believing and affirming faith that what you can not see is taking place right now and focus on the achievement of a goal, not in his questioning.
In what has to do with the power of attraction, do not worry about how you will get what you want. Leave it to a power that is much bigger than you.
Do not use faith to grow omens and fetishes. Rather to develop a harmonious relationship with your being creator, God nourishes and sustains you.
Use and exercise the power of the declarations and statements in your life to increase your faith that is vital to achieve any level of genuine success. No luck.
Apply faith to those desires and achievements to build your life and that of others.

Ways on How to Motivate Yourself Everyday.
by Images Prints
Life can take its toll on all of us sometimes, and a lack of motivation can make your life much harder than it needs to be. Getting out of bed in the morning can seem like a hard thing, but with a bit of help, you can find your way again. Read on below for some great tips to motivate you to get through your day and make a difference in your life.
Having a goal.
Having a goal for your day can give your life meaning. Grab a notebook that you will dedicate to your goals each day. Before going to bed at night, write down something you want to accomplish the following day. This should be almost like a to-do list when you go shopping. If you choose to do this, you will start looking forward to each day because you feel like you have initially accomplished something every day of your life.
Going outside.
Give yourself a boost every morning by going outside and getting some fresh air. A few minutes surrounded by fresh air in the morning can clear your mind. It will not only clean your lungs, but give you a chance to clear up any problems you may have had with sleep.
Eating a healthy breakfast.
Make sure you are eating a healthy breakfast. Poor eating habits can not only make you feel worse, they will also take a toll on your health. A breakfast equipped with all of the right food groups will ensure you have enough energy to get through your day.
Exercise every morning.
Take some time to exercise every morning. It not only makes you a healthier person, but it lets you blow off some steam. If something is bothering you, exercise can help you find solutions to your problems as it lets you think. Thinking while you exercise is a common way of finding solutions to many problems.
Make sure you are hydrated enough.
In lieu of being healthy, make sure you are hydrated enough. Getting through the day is not just dependent on how you assert your mind, but how hydrated you are. Your health depends on drinking 8 glasses of water each day.
Meditate or pray in the morning.
Center your inner self by choosing to meditate or pray in the morning. If you are generally not religious, meditation can help you get in touch with your inner self and give your day focus. Praying can work much in the same way and reaffirm your much-needed faith. Whatever you choose to do, these can all help you overcome daily obstacles.
Write down dreams.
Oftentimes, a lack of sleep may contribute to a bad day ahead. Instead of dwelling on past dreams or nightmares, understand where they come from. Your subconscious mind is often trying to tell you something when you encounter dreams. Whenever you wake up, grab a notebook and write down dreams. This will give you a chance to look back at different dreams you may have had and you can analyze them to your benefit.
A positive attitude at the start of each day is the secret to success. Any great and successful person will tell you that having goals and a daily routine gets you started each morning. Use the simple, yet straightforward advice from this article to ensure you are doing what you can for yourself!

Fear of Success: Is It Holding You Back?
By Judith Albright
It is a rare human being who does not want to be successful, so why is it that so many people are afraid of achieving success? Opportunities are plentiful, so what is it that keeps us from seizing and running with them? The reasons are many, but primarily it boils down to the fact that success itself is not what we fear most. What we fear is the price we might have to pay for achieving it.
Ironically, fear of failure is often the underlying cause of fear of success. Even though they are closely related, there is a difference. Fear of failure is a fear of making mistakes and becoming diminished in the eyes of others. Conversely, fear of success is more about feelings of unworthiness and not being good enough. It is also a fear that success is fragile and cannot be maintained, and that happiness will remain elusive no matter what is gained or accomplished.
While we primarily think of fear of success in relationship to career and work, it raises its unwelcome head in other areas of life as well. For example, it can prevent us from applying for a scholarship or working toward a graduate degree. It can keep us from searching for a better job, finding the right mate, maintaining a good marriage, or assuming responsibility within an organization. Fear of success is particularly problematic for women because they believe if they are more successful than their spouse or partner they could intimidate and drive that person away, or their very success will make them unapproachable and not lovable.
For both men and women there are various common sabotaging beliefs underlying fear of success. Which of the following might be a stumbling block for you?
- My time won't be my own-I will be a slave and have to give up my life.
- I will lose my identity and will no longer be myself.
- I won't fit in-my friends will avoid me and I will be lonely.
- I won't have anything left to achieve or look forward to.
- People will scrutinize my entire life and judge me harshly.
- I will be too visible and won't be able to hide anymore.
- Others might find out I really don't know what I am doing.
- Someone close to me could feel hurt or resentful.
- I won't be able to maintain my success which could all be swept away in a heartbeat.
- People might think me ruthless or selfish.
- I will be besieged by people wanting money or favors.
How to Address Your Fears
The best way to address your fears is to recognize them for what they are. Much of what we believe falls apart or seems absurd once you start examining them under a microscope.
Be clear about what success means to you. An ideal definition of success might be a meaningful life, lasting relationships, and work that provides personal fulfillment, financial prosperity, and makes a difference. What is your definition? How would you end this statement? "If I were successful I would be... Once you have a clear idea of what success looks like for you, start focusing on what matters most. With each action you take, ask yourself if it will get you closer to your goal or farther from it. Do not allow yourself to get sidetracked with superficial distractions.
Identify and analyze all the downsides of being successful. Take a close look at what it is that you actually fear. Consider the following question: if I am truly successful (according to what my definition of success is), what is the worst thing that could happen? What would I have to do or be that is different, and what would be the overall impact on my life? What would change? Can I accept and live with those changes?
Stop gauging yourself by other people's achievements. No two people or situations are ever the same and we all came into this life with our own individual gifts and talents. Stop dwelling on your shortcomings and concentrate on your assets. Determine what yours are and use them to your advantage. And regardless of how small, celebrate your own milestones and accomplishments. When you feel good about yourself and what you are doing, it is harder for others to shake your confidence.
Stop focusing on competing. While it is wonderful to appreciate and be inspired by others and to learn from them, becoming embroiled in a fierce competition with someone else is not only a waste of time, it sets you up for disappointment and failure. The only one you need to compete with is yourself-aim to be the best you can and strive to break only your own personal records.
Seek help when you need it. No one has the answers to everything and it is no disgrace to ask for help when we find ourselves in over our heads. It is not necessary to have all the answers ourselves. It is about knowing where to find them when we need them. Henry Ford of Ford Motor Company fame is a good example of this. He saw no need to know everything himself and gathered people around him he could rely on to provide the right answers.
Stop trying to be perfect. No one is perfect and no one expects you to be. Perfection is a lofty goal that is rarely met. We can make ourselves crazy trying to achieve this, or we can accept our imperfections as part of who we are. Avoid focusing on whatever you did not do, or what you should have done differently. It is only human to make mistakes, so forgive yourself and everyone else will too. You might even try poking a little fun at yourself-a little humor can take the sting out of many situations.
Learn from your mistakes. You are bound to make mistakes and when you do, learn what you can from them. Just be sure your future mistakes are new ones and you are not repeating any old ones. Mistakes are the stepping stones of progress, and if you are not failing from time to time you are probably not trying hard enough. Significant achievements are almost invariably realized at the end of a long road of failures. Something you may consider one of your greatest mistakes might actually turn out to be the link to your greatest achievement.

How To Have Courage
By Peter Hobler
The way to get out of the comfort rut of fear and overwhelm that has been the obstacle to your dreams is to figure out "HOW TO HAVE COURAGE."
Fear is the single biggest obstacle for people being able to achieve their goals and dreams. Fear is subconscious... yet it paralyzes.
You've probably dreamed about specific things you'd like to accomplish, exotic destinations you'd like to visit or special places were you'd like to live, people you'd love to meet, or material things you'd absolutely love to have such as a new car or an awesome house.
Have you ever wondered how to make these things your reality?
Or have you consistently been hounded by the naysayers in your life who always tell you you're crazy and unrealistic?
Wait... You LISTENED to them? If you're serious, passionate and inspired to get what you dream about, why would you listen to any of these individuals?
Naysayers are aptly described as dream-stealers... They are negative individuals stuck in their oblivious realm of self-doubt and disbelief. They are unfulfilled and are not unhappy. The only passion they seem to have is their negativity. So, again, why would you listen to anyone like this?
Having dreams is exciting, exhilarating, uplifting and energizing. Just imagine how it will feel when you actually accomplish your goals and realize your dreams? That's right, they can absolute become your reality when you resolutely commit to that first step and figure out how to have courage.
You will feel amazing, fantastic, inspired, fulfilled, happy, successful, and courageous!
This will just be the beginning... and will be what happens when you have the courage to discover your passion and commit to take action to achieve your goals and realize your dreams.
So why haven't you make the decision to get out of that state of fear and overwhelm and commit to figuring out how to find courage, discover your passion, seek out like-minded individuals who already have what you want, learn from them, design a plan of action and started taking consistent, inspired action?
Maybe you feel overwhelmed because of the job, taking care of your family, keeping up with your finances, getting out of debt, overseeing your house, taking care of the pets, spending time with friends, are worried about getting a new car, wanting to go on a trip, donating your time to a cause you believe in... and on the list goes. Certainly, you can relate to these "overwhelming" components that make up what is called "Life."
The combination of a huge list of priority actions and all that fear leads straight to that never-ending black hole known as overwhelm. The best way to get away from fear and to get out of overwhelm is to figure out HOW TO HAVE COURAGE.
The realistic irony of fear is it only exists in your mind. That's right. Think about it. You can't touch it, taste it, hear it, see it or smell it. So why does it paralyze so many people?
This is the question of a lifetime for anyone who is serious about achieving their goals and realizing their dreams.
Theoretical answers can be found in books on courage that supposedly can teach you how to find courage. There are books about courage that can provide you with insights for how to prepare courage... that's right, how to prepare your courage. The bottom line regarding courage, is that to have courage, you must prepare by learning, taking action, becoming the appropriate type of leader, building on your strengths and skill-sets.
There are Life Coaches, Business Coaches and Success Coaches who specialize in providing insights and guidance to inspire committed individuals how to move past the obstacle of fear by working with you to teach you and inspire you how to have courage.
They will teach you that what you focus on is what you'll get back. The irony of fear is that it's subconscious. When you subconsciously focus on fear, more than likely your fears will come true.
I call this THE VICIOUS CYCLE OF SUBCONSCIOUS FEAR. When you have fears that consume you... beware of what they will do to you. They will absolutely keep you from getting what you really want.
Are you committed to breaking out of this vicious cycle? Are you passionate about your dreams and resolutely committed to learning how to find courage?
If you truly are, then know I'm feeling inspired. If you're committed to moving forward, let's get to it.

Three Simple Ways to Increase Your Success in Life
By Sheila Hageman
There are some commonly accepted principles of success that have been spoken and written about for centuries. The key for us in the modern world is to find ways to tailor those classic principles into working methods that will help us increase our success today!
Here are three simple ways you can boost your enthusiasm for life on a daily basis, which leads to more success. Follow these steps and you will see the changes begin in your life immediately.
Discovery
A common problem of not feeling enthusiasm in the morning is when you have nothing to look forward to. The first step to feeling like jumping out of bed every morning is discovering what makes you excited and pumped up. It's hard to feel enthusiastic when you don't have anything you're yearning toward.
So how do you know what lights you up if you've fallen into the everyday drudgery of your job and family life? Give yourself time to search, play and discover what lights you up!
Brainstorm a list of all the activities you loved to do as a child. Do you still make room and time for those kinds of activities in your life today? Also ask yourself what dreams you had as a child? Did you want to be a dancer, a writer or an artist? How can you live toward fulfilling those urges now that you're an adult and really in control of your life?
Focus
Once you've discovered some activities or goals that you are excited to explore, focus your attention on just one at a time. Perhaps you've realized you always wanted to learn how to draw and you also love knitting beautiful creations. Choose just one to focus on at a time!
It doesn't matter which you choose, just make the decision to focus your attention on one thing every day. How can you include that activity in your daily life? It's okay to start small and just commit to spending fifteen minutes to practicing your activity or goal of choice.
If you have that time set aside every day, even if you other chores you need to take care of that day, too, you'll have your special goal time to look forward to.
Self-reflection
Work in some time to reflect on the process of the changes in you. Select a special journal or notebook to chronicle what the entire experience is like-from choosing an activity to how you go about implementing it into your life.

The How of Intention
by Joe Vitale
The area people get hung up the most with the Law of Attraction is "the how" of it all.
Meaning, they set an intention and then wonder and worry about what to do to actually manifest the end result.
They want a how.
That's a mistake.
As I wrote in in my book The Attractor Factor, after you state a clear intention, your final step is to let go while taking inspired action.
What does that mean?
Here's an example to help clarify the point...
After my personal trainer, Scott York, and I met and spent time at my home with legendary bodybuilder and actor Lou Ferrigno, we speculated who we'd like to meet next. Hanging with Lou for hours was a highlight of my life. He was charming and open. I'll never forget it, or him.*
Who did we want to see next?
The obvious answer for us was the legend himself, a man who even inspired Lou: Arnold Schwarzenegger.
We had both finished reading Arnold's autobiography, Total Recall, and were in awe of the man and his accomplishments. Arnold's list of record breaking successes is staggering.
Even at age 65, he's not slowing down. He has new goals, new passions, new projects, new movies, and a relentless drive to achieve more.
We decided we wanted to see him.
That was our new intention.
But how would we achieve it?
We didn't fret over how it would happen. We didn't make plans, or calls, or ask people for introductions. I could have done that. After all, I know people who know Arnold. I could have reached out and started to shake the trees, looking for my intro to Arnold.
But I didn't do any of that. Neither did Scott.
Why not?
We didn't feel inspired to do so.
When I say "let go and take inspired action," it means let go of any attachment or addiction or need for the end result. This requires faith. It requires trust. It requires a knowing that the intention will manifest, but in its own time and place. Or something even better will come along to replace it.
We let go of any "how"? to make it happen.
That's detachment.
But that's only part of the formula.
And at the same time, when you are inspired, act.
One night Scott was fooling around on his iPhone, just browsing emails while his kids played and watched television. As Scott thumbed through all the emails, he saw one that said, "Want to see Arnold?"
Scott couldn't believe it. He thought it was a joke or a scam. But he clicked on the email and read that a local person who has connections in the movie business was hosting the premier of Arnold's latest action movie, The Last Stand.
Turns out there was a contest where twenty winners could see the movie, and then visit with Arnold (and costar Johnny Knoxville) after the show for a private Q & A.
Scott doubted this was a ticket anywhere, but he took inspired action.
The host wanted a paragraph and a photo of every person wanting to win. Scott completed the requirements. He sent in his photo and such. And then he forgot about it.
Later that same night he received a response by email saying, "You won!"?
He was told he could attend the event with a friend.
Scott thought of me.
Together we went to that movie premier. We sat with a few other people and asked Arnold questions about the movie (great), politics (dirty), his goals (many), his future (movies), his exercise routine (daily), and more.
We got our intention!
Do you see how this works?
A clear intention - stated without desperation or need but with a childlike spirit of trust, faith and fun... led to an opportunity nobody could have predicted or orchestrated.
Our job was to take inspired action when it appeared. We did.
That's how the Law of Attraction works.
What do you want? What would be cool for you to have, do or be?
Arnold said his father taught him to "Be Useful."? That advice has guided his entire life.
Be useful.
What intention can you state that delights you while making you useful to others?
That will kick the Law of Attraction into overdrive. Just don't worry about how you will accomplish it. When ideas present themselves, act.
So, what is your benevolent intention?
State it.
And then let go of it while paying attention to any nudges from within or opportunities that come your way.
When you feel the inspiration to do something, act.
That's the "how?" of making your dreams come true.
