The meditation timer, the guide to a scheduled meditation period

Meditation is one of the healthy activities that feeds both body and mind. The time you spent for meditation returns to you in the form of more accomplishments and a rejuvenated spirit. Imagine how much you profit from the twenty minutes twice a day practice of meditation? It is a good way to start and end the day with.

The interesting part of meditation is that when the habit of doing it enters your system, the time you allotted for it becomes a flash. And to guide you not to lose your other routines for the day, a meditation timer is a helpful tool especially for the meditation practitioners. The progressive chimes of the meditation clock are more favorable compared to the ordinary alarm clock. Another advantage of using the meditation clock is that it allows you to gently dwell back to reality when your meditation session is over and you are still too devoured with it.

A meditation timer has various features. This is usually made of light materials that make it handy and easy to carry. For athletes and active people who employ their meditation sessions in various grounds, the meditation timer is a comfortable gadget to carry along. A good meditation timer provides a calm way to signal the start and the end of the meeting. While you are in the deep contemplation, you can set the meditation timer to chime in a certain time interval.

Those who are practicing sleeping meditation can wake up gradually with the use of the meditation timer. This tool help lessen the grogginess in waking up. Because of this, your logic and your ability to recall are being developed. The meditation timer is an effective guide for people who need to stick to a schedule in a manner that the concentration is not disrupted.

The meditation timer is available in online stores. There are websites that offer meditation timers that can be downloaded right on your PC. The online meditation timer features a beeping sound at one minute up to 99 hours interval. It can also be set to stop beeping at the end of the 1-999 counts. This tool beeps once every after the time interval that you set and three times after the meditation period. It is a convenient timer to use that features big buttons for start and stop actions. There are also meditation timers that contain memory to store meditationprocesses.

Various styles of meditation timer can also be found in meditation supplies stores. The choice of which type to use depends on the kind of meditation that one practices. The meditation timer can also be made to fit the personality and fashion of the person especially if one is building a contemplative garden in his place.

However, the prime consideration in choosing the meditation timer should be the quality of the tool. And it will be wise to find for the meditation timer that will last through time.

Meditation Music "The Subliminal Audio Alignment" review

Music and sounds always very interested me. Since high school I play the guitar and sing, now mainly for my own pleasure. That's why I became intrigued created by Guitar Monk Mathew Dixon, the product called "The Subliminal Alingment Audio", which can be use as meditation music. In the period in which I purchased this product I had time of very intense work on one project in my job. I was searching for music or something that allowed me to better focus on the activities undertaken. I thought of relaxing music but I did not want to fall asleep at my desk. Audio created by Mathew Dixon is something else. There is not music but a set of carefully selected sounds that have been developed to synchronize your energy centers called chakra. Listening to the sounds of this type can have positive influence on your health. It also reduces stress, which you are exposed in the workplace. You can use this as a background sound when you work, it is great for meditation and also when you fall asleep.

Is necessary to distinguish two issues of healing through music and healing through sounds. Both of these methods can have a significant impact on human health. Mathew Dixon focused on the sound of their audio. Sounds with different frequencies, which are amazing to resonate with different parts of the body. They can cause changes in the neurological, physiological level  and affect the molecules at the molecular level and even change the DNA. This type of audio is not entertainment, but it is based on physical phenomena. These works by changing of the vibration of the objects, in this case the various parts of the body, by means of sound.

All objects in the universe from atoms to planets and even galactic are in constant vibration. They are not alway in the frequency which can be hear. This is confirmed by research in the field of quantum physics. Our body is like an orchestra where if all our organs are in the right resonance we feel the harmony, but when a part body loses the resonance, it has an impact on the sound of the entire orchestra, the lack of synchronization is manifested in the form of the disease. With the right sounds you can re-synchronize the body and in this way help to heal it.

Recording "The Subliminal Audio Alignment" lasts 29 minutes and 55 seconds during which the sounds are played synchronizing cycles of following chakras

Root or base chakra (survival)
Sacred chakra (sex)
Solar Plexus chakra (power)
Heart chakra (love)
Throat chakra (communication)
Third Eye Chakra (clairvoyance)
Crown chakra (wisdom)

When using this type of sound it is also important to have an intention. That is what you want to get by listening to this audio recording. In the "The Subliminal Audio Alignment" Mathew Dixon implement clearing process of hooponopono derived from the traditions of Hawaii. This process involves the repetition of a clearing mantra "I love you, I'm sorry, Please forgive me, Thank you".  This mantra is not heard by our concisions. But it is projected directly to our subconscious mind. On Mathew Dixon's recording this mantra is saying by Dr. Joe Vitale, one of the world know propagator of this clearing technique.

Meditation Techniques - It Really Work!

by Irene Hutton

No matter what form of meditation you follow, the basic shared principle is to quieten your thoughts and mind. We can sit in a chair for many hours, but, if thoughts continually pass through our mind then our meditation will probably be ineffective. Ultimately the aim is to have a mind free of thoughts. It's in this inner silence that we can expertise a consciousness of real peace.

At initial glance, individuals might discover the idea of stopping thoughts very challenging. In the event you attempt sitting silent for a while, you'll most likely be inundated with thoughts. When giving meditation classes, the difficulty of controlling the thoughts is really a common expertise. Nevertheless, in the event you sincerely attempt, you can learn to reduce the power of thoughts over yourself.

It is hard to control our thoughts through the power of the mind. To achieve inner silence it's advisable to choose something to focus our attention on. This may be the use of a simple mantra; it may be concentrating on a candle or flower. Personally, I concentrate on the 'heart center'. Try listening to your heart beat and feel your awareness leaving the mind and entering the heart. In the event you can consciously leave the mind, it becomes much simpler to decrease the power of thoughts.

When you start meditating, you'll notice how unruly the mind is. I remember being very shocked by this! I noticed that my mind was all over the location. Profound thoughts about my past or future jostled with mundane thought clips about what groceries I needed to buy. Some time afterwards I would come too and notice that I had spend 15 minutes running a painful memory over and over. It was like sitting in a crazy cinema!

Study into the benefits of mindfulness appears to support its claims. Individuals prone to depression, say, are less likely to have depressive episodes if they practice meditation. Stress goes down. But it's more like going on a journey than taking a pill. Although meditation techniques can be learned quickly, it is no instant remedy and demands discipline. That said, many who attend lessons or go on retreats find immediate advantages - which isn't so surprising, given that in a world of no stillness, even just a little calm goes a lengthy way.

Part of the appeal of mindfulness is that it does not come loaded with theological assumptions. You are able to do it with out becoming a Buddhist, though Buddhist assumptions do underpin it. The most obvious will be the idea of dukkha - which could be translated as suffering, dissatisfaction or discontent. It is meant in a very broad sense, everything from deep psychological wounding to the faintest perturbations that trouble every day life.

Meditation is an incredible tool. You can discover to be more relaxed, promote healing, gain deeper self-awareness, release main personal blocks, and connect with higher spiritual dimensions. Meditation is really a really remarkable procedure.

Ways on How to Motivate Yourself Everyday.

by Images Prints

Life can take its toll on all of us sometimes, and a lack of motivation can make your life much harder than it needs to be. Getting out of bed in the morning can seem like a hard thing, but with a bit of help, you can find your way again. Read on below for some great tips to motivate you to get through your day and make a difference in your life.

Having a goal.

Having a goal for your day can give your life meaning. Grab a notebook that you will dedicate to your goals each day. Before going to bed at night, write down something you want to accomplish the following day. This should be almost like a to-do list when you go shopping. If you choose to do this, you will start looking forward to each day because you feel like you have initially accomplished something every day of your life.

Going outside.

Give yourself a boost every morning by going outside and getting some fresh air. A few minutes surrounded by fresh air in the morning can clear your mind. It will not only clean your lungs, but give you a chance to clear up any problems you may have had with sleep.

Eating a healthy breakfast.

Make sure you are eating a healthy breakfast. Poor eating habits can not only make you feel worse, they will also take a toll on your health. A breakfast equipped with all of the right food groups will ensure you have enough energy to get through your day.

Exercise every morning.

Take some time to exercise every morning. It not only makes you a healthier person, but it lets you blow off some steam. If something is bothering you, exercise can help you find solutions to your problems as it lets you think. Thinking while you exercise is a common way of finding solutions to many problems.

Make sure you are hydrated enough.

In lieu of being healthy, make sure you are hydrated enough. Getting through the day is not just dependent on how you assert your mind, but how hydrated you are. Your health depends on drinking 8 glasses of water each day.

Meditate or pray in the morning.

Center your inner self by choosing to meditate or pray in the morning. If you are generally not religious, meditation can help you get in touch with your inner self and give your day focus. Praying can work much in the same way and reaffirm your much-needed faith. Whatever you choose to do, these can all help you overcome daily obstacles.

Write down dreams.

Oftentimes, a lack of sleep may contribute to a bad day ahead. Instead of dwelling on past dreams or nightmares, understand where they come from. Your subconscious mind is often trying to tell you something when you encounter dreams. Whenever you wake up, grab a notebook and write down dreams. This will give you a chance to look back at different dreams you may have had and you can analyze them to your benefit.

A positive attitude at the start of each day is the secret to success. Any great and successful person will tell you that having goals and a daily routine gets you started each morning. Use the simple, yet straightforward advice from this article to ensure you are doing what you can for yourself!

6 Things You Need for the Law of Attraction to Work for You

by Nelson Berry

Are you interested in using the law of attraction? For it to be effective in your life, you need these six essential elements to be present:

1. Patience. The law of attraction is extremely effective and powerful, but it does not always work instantaneously. If you want it to yield actual results, you need to be diligent and patient to work towards your goal while also attracting your goal towards you using positive and powerful thoughts. In a way, you and your goal has to meet in the middle. In sum, you have to show a positive and patient attitude towards your desires.

2. The right desires. Sometimes, people use the law of attraction to try and attract things or desires that are not even in the realm of possibility. The law of attraction will only work if you have the right desires in mind.

3. An open mind. You should also have an open mind. The law of attraction says that a Higher Force in the universe will be the one to send your desires your way. This means, however, that this Higher Force has jurisdiction over the universe. Thus, sometimes, you need to accept that even when you don't receive the exact same things you wish for, you may often be provided with things that are actually better, more beneficial, or more appropriate for you.

4. A spiritual goal. If you expect the law of attraction to bring you complete fulfillment in life, make sure that you also have a spiritual goal. If you only use the law of attraction to help you attain all materialistic desires you can think of, at the end of the day, you will still not find complete fulfillment. It is only the conjunction of the law and your spiritual goal that will guarantee total life contentment.

5. Your own experience. The law of attraction requires a journey of discovery and learning. You have to learn and experience the power of the law in your own life. The common principles may be the same, but techniques that worked for others may not work for you since people have very unique desires and characteristics.

6. Subliminal products. One of the easiest ways to attain results based on the concept of the law of attraction is the use of subliminal products. These include subliminal videos, audio files and tapes, and so on. Self-help books may also help. The purpose of these products is to fill your head with positive thoughts and ideas, and to feed your mind and cultivate a positive environment within you.

People have somehow become programmed to take in negative feedback from the external world, and a lot of negative thoughts and beliefs have accumulated in our personalities due to our negative experiences. That's why most people find it hard to apply the law of attraction because they are easily distracted and destructed by negative thoughts, no matter how they try to stay positive. In order to build the habit of positive thinking, you need subliminal products to give you the reinforcement you need.

5 Ways to Reduce Worry Right Now

by Colin G Smith

Everybody worries about things from time to time. Amongst the most common things people worry about are; Health, Work, Children, Looks, Age and Money. It's only really a problem when a person starts dwelling on worrying thoughts. Obviously it would be best to simply 'stop worrying' but this is easier said than done, unless you know about the following worry reducing methods

1. Get Above it All

When you're worrying you tend to focussing on big worrying images. By changing perspective and 'getting above it all' you can quickly change your response to the source of the worry and feel more detached and objective. Go and ahead and think about the thing that worries you. Now in your mind step back and imagine seeing yourself 'down there with the worry' as you float higher up to get a bird's eye view of it all.

2. Meditation

It's well substantiated that meditation can help to reduce stress and anxiety. By doing basic breathing meditation you can reduce your feeling of worry. Simple get comfortable. Close your eyes and concentrate on the sensation of the breath going and out. Do this for ten minutes and notice how you feel afterwards!

3. Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

EFT has become quite well known and for good reason. EFT or 'energy tapping' is a way of using the fingers to gently tap the meridian points on the body which causes blocks in the human energy system to be released. By tapping away 'worry' you will feel more inner calm instead.

4. Art Therapy

This can be done in a very simple yet effective way. It's been observed that when people are stressed or agitated they tend to doodle with angular strokes. Because of the mind/body connection you can send calming vibes to the mind by drawing curvy / circular motions. Simply start doodling with pen or pencil, curves, circles and figure eights.

5. Practice Gratitude

The feeling of gratitude is a great antidote to worry and anxiety. Pick something really basic that you can feel grateful for right now. Are you in a warm, safe place? Feel grateful about that. Now what else can you feel grateful about? Friendships? Family? Pets?

Worrying at the end of the day is just a series of thought processes. Images and words in the mind. We can interrupt these thoughts and instead think about more positive things. By practicing simple methods like the one's above we can learn to reduce our worrying and enjoy life more.
